Congratulations to everyone on February 16th - the Day of the Restoration of the State of Lithuania. On this occasion, the article is not published on Sunday as usual, but on Wednesday. We will talk about ventilation cleaning in restaurants. If you haven't read it, please read the first part.

Nowadays, more and more managers and owners of restaurants, cafes (and other catering establishments) in Lithuania realise that cleaning ventilation systems (ducts, hoods, grills) is a necessary and useful thing. And not only because it is regulated by law and a fire inspector can easily order a kitchen to stop working (and every minute of downtime is a waste of money!). But also because if you don't clean the ventilation, you could face big problems and, most importantly, a fire risk!

Have you been thinking about quality cleaning of ducts (hoods, etc.) and ventilation equipment (fans) for grease and dirt? If it's been a while, then you might have something similar:

If you are a leader with tomorrow in mind, we recommend that you contact us and a technician will be able to inspect the condition of your ventilation system by taking photographs. This completely free procedure will give you an accurate understanding of what is happening in your ventilation system.

Based on the results of the video inspection, we will prepare a proposal for cleaning your ventilation systems. The end result will be a ventilation system that is free of grease and other waste:

The ventilation system has been cleaned of grease and other waste. Just compare with the photos above.

Timely cleaning of ventilation systems for grease will help solve many problems at once:

Significantly reduce the risk of fire in the ventilation system. Unfortunately, many people forget that ventilation systems in catering establishments are particularly dangerous in the event of fire. According to statistics, fires are often caused by ventilation systems that are not cleaned in time and by hoods over all kinds of surfaces. Read more about this in our article on fires caused by failure to clean ventilation;
Extend the life of your ventilation equipment. When the air ducts are contaminated, the equipment starts to wear out. For example, fan blades can become unbalanced due to grease. The result is failure and costly repairs or fan replacement.
Reduce energy consumption and filter change frequency (saving money!)

How often should the ventilation system be cleaned?

We recommend cleaning the ventilation system every three months at most, as during that time enough contaminants build up to cause problems. And if you haven't done it yet, or if you exceed this time, contact us as soon as possible and we'll discuss everything down to the smallest detail!
